Paris, 14 February 2001.- The WEU Assembly/interim European Security and Defence Assembly is preparing an international colloquy bearing the title “Revising the European security concept – responding to new risks”.
 
The colloquy will take place in the German Reichstag (Federal Parliament building) on 2 – 3 May 2001. The colloquy will be an occasion for European parliamentarians, government ministers, European commissioners and leading security experts to discuss topical issues of European security and defence and transatlantic relations. 
 
Guest speakers will include ministers of foreign affairs and defence from Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, as well as the United States and Russia
